- Former directorof MAHAVIR CANCER SANATHAN, PATNA and PARAS CANCER CENTRE, PATNA
- Was senior faculty member at TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, Mumbai.
- Has 166 publications in National & International journals to his credit.
- Had contributed in 6 Oncological Books.
- Former National President of sixoncological associations :
(1) Indian Society of Oncology
(2) India Association of Hyperthermia and Medicine
(3) Association of Gynecological Oncologists of India
(4) Indian Brachytherapy Society

- Presently, National secretary of Breast Cancer Foundation-India.
- Former National Vice Presidentof Indian Medical Association (Delhi HQ).

- As a Principal Investigator, he had successfully conducted 66 National & International Clinical Trials.
- Has guided many DNB & MD students.
- Was the Chairman of Research Centre ofC.S. .
- Recipient of several National & International awards.
- For his outstanding contribution in the field of oncology, govt. of India conferred ‘Padma Shri’ award to him in the year 2012.
