Comprehensive Cancer Care & SOPs – SS Hospital
Oncology Patient Workflow
After OPD consultation with Dr. Jitendra Kumar Singh, the patient is advised required tests.
Patient proceeds to the diagnostic counters:
- Laboratory (CBC, LFT, RFT, Tumor Markers, etc.)
- Radiology (USG / X-Ray / CT / MRI / PET-CT as needed)
- Biopsy / FNAC (if indicated)
All tests are completed on the same day whenever possible. Biopsy sample is collected, labeled, and sent for histopathology.
Reports (blood tests, radiology) are usually available same day Biopsy report is reviewed as soon as it returns.
As soon as all reports including biopsy are ready, the doctor finalizes the treatment plan.
After all investigations including biopsy are completed and cancer is confirmed, SS Hospital starts cancer treatment on the same day.
